Our programs are designed to provide a full circle of support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the areas of work, advocacy, home, family and recreation. Every program is designed to meet the specific needs of the individual while integrating with and/or complementing other programs. BARC’s training, vocational and educational programs enhance the lives of the Clients and help them meet the goals established in their Person-Centered Plan. We work with each Client to help them achieve their highest level of vocational functioning possible so that they can take part in community employment opportunities, allowing them to earn a paycheck and gain confidence in the workplace.

By participating in our programs, our Clients discover empowerment in the workforce as well as in their daily lives. Earning an income makes them feel more successful and independent. In return, the businesses that hire our Clients realize they have employees with outstanding work ethics, qualified performance, reliable attendance and enviable safety records. They reduce recruiting costs and improve employee turnover. It’s a win-win for both parties.
